Overview of HIV/AIDS Research in Hong Kong Since 2008
Since 2008, our Society has actively participated in and promoted local HIV/AIDS-related research, covering the following areas:
• Surveys on HIV/AIDS Knowledge and Behaviour among Hong Kong Youth
• Research on Infection Risks and Intervention Effectiveness among High-Risk Groups
• Evaluations of Sexuality Education Programme Outcomes
• Studies on Societal Attitudes and Stigma towards People Living with HIV/AIDS
We have published multiple research reports, providing an evidence-based foundation for public health policies and educational programmes.
Other Work Programmes
Youth Outreach Education: Deploying staff to high-risk venues such as parks, Lok Ma Chau bus stations, discos, and streets to provide on-site counselling and education.

School and Institutional Workshops: Conducting AIDS prevention talks and interactive workshops for primary and secondary schools, tertiary institutions, and churches.

Peer Education Programme: Training young people to become peer educators who promote safer sex practices in schools and the community.

Support Resources for Teachers and Social Workers: Providing teaching materials, training, and consultancy services to enhance the teaching capabilities of educators.

Drama and Arts Advocacy: Fostering social dialogue and reflection through performances and creative works.
